Maestran™ Hurricane Screen Product Specifications:
Maestran™ Protection is approved by Florida Building Code for HVHZ and non-HVHZ and Texas Department of Insurance product and hold a Notice of Acceptance (NOA) from Miami Dade. It has already passed with a Large Missile Impact (LMI) test, as well Cyclic and Static wind load tests of 200 psf. (pound per square foot) for a 108” wide and 398” high screen size. Maestran TM is US Patent Pending as well PCT Patent Pending in 110 countries.
- Maestran Product Approvals and Certifications:
- Grommetted Fixed application has approval from Miami Dade County, Florida Building Code for HVHZ and non-HVHZ, and Texas Department of Insurance, with a design pressure rating of ±95 psf, which protects the opening for wind speeds up to 192 mph. Maestran is also rated as large missile impact resistant
- Roll Down Maestran application is approved from Miami Dade County, Florida Building Code for HVHZ and non-HVHZ, and Texas Department of Insurance. In independent testing, Maestran withstood a maximum design pressure of ±200 psf (wind speeds over 280 mph). Design pressure ratings.
